Great Poem Anthology!
SOUL poem anthology by Kim Doran was a great choice for my journey reading. It’s an insightful glimpse into life and its inevitable highs and lows. Kim shares her life experiences in a way that challenges your thoughts and expectations, but leaves you refreshed. A great book !
Packing Away What's Holding Us Back
We were blessed to do this study in a small group with Kim, the author, officiating the group. It's an amazing journey of taking inventory of our lives in certain appointed areas that can be holding us back from our best life. The tangibility of packing away areas of our lives that can be stumbling blocks, is refreshing and freeing. Kim expounded on the chapters through her experiences which provided more inspiration to pack away what might be holding us back.
Something for Everyone
This is the 3rd book I've purchased from this author and I have to say, this is my favorite. Her writing gets more and more raw and really resonates with you. I was really moved by a few of the poems and felt like I knew the subject. If you are into poetry, I really recommend this book. If you are not, I still recommend it, you will be moved, you will feel connected and you will relate to some of the subjects.
A Powerful and Cathartic Experience
When a book of poetry resonates with you and allows you to feel, it is a testament to the power of language to connect us to our deepest emotions and experiences. The book has brought to mind my own life experiences and feels like the author captured my thoughts and feelings in words. This book is a source of solace, inspiration and insight into the complexities of life. This is a recommended read!
Powerful Book!
I absolutely love the Journey Kim took me on while reading her book!! “ Pack your suitcase” is a true thought provoking guide and hands on faith based workbook that inspires the reader to release strongholds & embrace their purpose driven life! This was a great read!!!
From the Heart
If you're someone like me who doesn't read a lot of poetry, you'll like this one. Each poem is deep, from the heart, and easy to read. There's something for everyone to relate to in this book of poems, maybe even all of them. I enjoy picking it up any time and reading one or more and then pondering the words. Nice!

Beautifully Written
This book has touched me in many ways. It is beautifully artistically created, touching many life experiences, thought provoking,enjoyable,relatable and simply wonderful for anyone. Terrific for gift giving as well. I have purchased several so far.!!! Highly recommend.
It Touches the Soul
Kim heard me share my testimony at an event and asked if she could interview me and share my story in her poetic format. What an amazing reading. I cried as I read my own testimony. It touches the soul as you read all these testimonies that’s in poetry form. I would encourage everyone to purchase this book— you will be blessed as you read it!
A Suitcase Made to Hold More Than Enough
This book is is a life changer it reminded me to put all the unwanted extra negative emotional baggage in a special suitcase and let God take the Handle. How much lighter my life is. Easy to say hard to do, however this book encouraged me and reminded me this is one suitcase I can stuff to the max. Thank you Kim for sharing your inspiration.
Everyday Inspiration
This is a great book! Well written and from the heart! The poems are both real and inspire you to think in new ways. Please make sure you read this book as there are certain books that change your life and this is one of them.
Fantastic Read
Kim is a lifelong friend of mine who has the most faith of anyone I have ever met. Not only is Kim a great friend but an excellent author. Her faith shows in her writings. I highly suggest reading her books and your faith will grow through her words.

Raw, straightforward, and full of hope
Kim Doran is a writer of poetry, self care and short stories. She is a former Private Investigator and uses her experiences in that career in her writing which is raw and straight forward, yet hopeful that better days are coming.
She is a cancer overcomer, has strong faith and is active in mentoring ministry of women and young adults within her community. She is also a vocalist, loves to cook and spend time with her family. Kim’s books are filled with real life situations and lessons learned offering hope and healing.
